Reserve HL2....

I went to my local EB and reserved HL2, but when i got home it hit me. Arent there 3 diff. ways that Hl2 comes out, s.p only, M.p. all of the following, oh and collectors edition. the guys there didnt mention it, i wonder when the games hits stores is there going to be enough to go around??

If 30 people reserve hl2 and 28 want the full thing, will they just have like 10 of each? ;(

I called the store back, but the guy there didnt know what he was doing :angry:

they'll give u the one with MP and Sp, the regular copy, cause thats standard

Anywayz, how much payed? 80 dollars is the CE, and you probably bought the regular one

BTW, I also pre-ordered HL2, but then i cancelled cause i wanted the CE lol

ya, dont worry about that. If you reserve the game at a major game store or like bestbuy or something, you will get the normal, retail game. It is the MP and SP version.

When reserving a game(in canadian eb) they ask for a minimum of $5, i payed $20.I have a feeling they gonna mess it up! ;(

I payed in full for my copy a year ago.....they better still have mine reserved.

God knows i will attack the man behind the counter if i dont get it.......or ill do the usual stamp my feet and pout for my mommy.

By the way, this happend to me before.when Diablo 2 came out alot of people got the collectors one. But they only got 3. had to wait an extra 1week for it. Not big deal only a week, but if u reserve it and then get nothing, makes u mad.


Ill call in the morning and talk to a manager or something.

The sp-only "walmart edition" is not a sure thing yet. It may come later for the holiday buying season. Don't expect (or worry about) it at launch time.

I actually think they dumped the walmart version...cause in the valve info thread they didnt list it as a form of the game...
