reservoir dogs is a great movie

it was an alright movie. after being hyped for many, MANY years, once I finally watched it, it wasn't that great. By being hyped, I mean I was hyped because i've always been told it's an awesome movie. I only recently got around to watching it.

Compared to pulp fiction, I think pulp fiction is far superior.

But a good watch though.

I actually prefer RD to PF, both are great though.

PF > RD

Still good though.
But to be honest, the best thing Tarantino was ever involved in was True Romance :p

Oh yeah, RD is great, and so is PF and True Romance is a classic, love the music.

The whole tipping dialogue is hilarious in the beginning of RD, and of course the music, fan****ingtastic

same boat as raziaar, afte hearing how awesome it was for many years, i was pretty let down when i finally saw.

I had the same thing--heard about how great it was and it just felt forced. Not great, but ok.

It's been like 10 years since I saw it for first time, getting kinda tired of praising it. Seen it about 20 times, still great tho. Not many people I know in real life had seen it before Kill Bill-hysteria. Nowdays, the QT-collection DVD-box can be found from every household, seems to be more common than Ace Ventura 2 VHS!

I watched it last night - didn't like it all, found RD really really boring
Pulp Fiction is awesome though

I have loved RD ever since seeing it a few years back. Steve Buscemi pwns in it!

One of my friends pretty much knows all the lines in it :O

I have always thought it was an extremely average if not below average movie. I don't think i'll ever see it again, if I can help it.

I prefer Resevoir Dogs to Pulp Fiction. Tim Roth, Steve Steve Buscemi, can't go wrong :)

I could have a giant rant about how wrong you are..but then i can see that some (foolish) people wouldn't like it

Mr. Brown: O.K., let me tell you what Like a Virgin's about. It's all about this cooze who's a regular fuck machine, I'm talking morning, day, night, afternoon, dick, dick, dick, dick, dick, dick, dick, dick, dick.
Mr. Blue: How many dicks is that?
Mr. White: A lot.
Mr. Brown: Then one day she meets this John Holmes motherfucker and it's like, whoa baby, I mean this cat is like Charles Bronson in the Great Escape, he's digging tunnels. Now, she's gettin' the serious dick action and she's feeling something she ain't felt since forever. Pain. Pain. It hurts her. It shouldn't hurt her, you know her pussy should be Bubble Yum by now, but when this cat fucks her it hurts. It hurts just like it did the first time. You see the pain is reminding the fuck machine what it once was like to be a virgin. Hence, "Like a virgin."

Hands down, the greatest ****ing movie of all time.

and one of the most brutal torture scenes ever when michael madsen cuts the cops ear off... call me a sadist, but that was awesome.

The brainwashing scene in A Clockwork Orange>That for torture scenes.

one of the coolest torture scenes sure, but not one of the most brutal, have you ever seen Hostel or any other horrible slasher movies?

I'd take weird psychological mind-trip tortures (see: the brainwashing scene) to "LOL LOOK I JUST TOOK OF A GUY'S LIMB!"

Also, OldBoy and Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance were both filled with really brutal/weird torture sequences. <3 those movies.

Truth, it was cool (especially the music choice) but not exactly brutal.

Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right, here I am.

does anyone like jackie brown? i think its the most underrated tarantino film.

Yeah, Jackie Brown is a lot better than people give it credit for.

question: have you seen coffy or foxy brown? watch them and then watch jackie brown. she ages wonderfully.
