Bought Reservoir Dogs Special Edition on DVD the other day, fantastic stuff. I don't usually impulse buy, but I made an exception. :) Can Michael Madsen be anymore cool? Even in the interviews, he's cool personified. Not to mention the entire cast being universally brilliant (especially Tim Roth).

Anyone else picked it up?

Quentin Tarantino is a genious. No doubt about that..
I have it on my to-buy list :) Same with Pulp Fiction.

I have it, it's freaking great!!

Tarantino's best was Reservoir Dogs and Jackie Brown.

I like the film a lot, though it took a while to start getting good IMO

He really isn't... he is just good at copying others. His movies are great, but, I dunno, I don't like giving him all the credit that he wants.. which is a lot.

But Resevoir Dogs was indeed a great, great movie. Steve Buscemi was my favorite.

Did you know that Samual L. Jackson auditioned to play Mr. Orange (Tim Roth)? Apparantly he was turned down, but Tarantino liked him so much that he was brought back for Pulp Fiction.

Yup. I've had it. It's a spectacular film by Tarantino. One of his many great classic flicks.

Tarantino likes certain actors, and they starr in most of his movies :) That's kinda cool I think.

I loved this movie almost as much as I loved Pulp Fiction... which is a lot!

Let's not forget his latest peace of work either. The Kill Bill movies are great.

Not at all :D Mr Blonde (to me) is one of the coolest movie characters ever ! I also loved Madsen in KB as Budd.

I do have a copied DVD btw :( but I am really going to buy an original!

 big bump here  don't hurt me!

Got Reservoir Dogs Special Edition the other week, and wow, it is amazing. Gotta be one of Tarantino's best. It has a certain feel to it that keeps me going back to it. Maybe it is the torture scene, or maybe it is Steve Buscemi as Mr. Pink that grabs me, but it is amazing.

Mr. Pink- "Hey, am i the only professional here?"

(sorry for the bump)

Love it, great film. I should really consider buying it..

Its well known that resevoir dogs is based on "city on fire" , but other than that I dont see who else tarrantino has been cribbing from. He wears his influences and his love of genre on his sleeve , so hes not exactly hiding anything.

By the way I would recommend "city on fire " to anyone that likes resevoir dogs, its a great companion piece.
Imagine if resevoir dogs was told from Tim Roth`s point of view , thats city on fire. The good thing is you can see what Tarrantino borrowed and what his innovations were, you will appreciate his version all the more.

It's so fücking overrated... The only part I liked was when Mr Pink (that's Quentin's part, right?) is in a car crash, goes blind, and then dies...
The torture scene is not disgusting at all. You don't even see anything...

No no, mr. pink is played by Steve Buscemi
