If you've never played the RE games, go see it, it's pretty neat IMO. If you've played the games, you'll hate it. I've played the games so I have a love hate thing for it. I hate Milla (Alice) now.... she ruined the movie for me. If they kept Jill the star of the movie, It woulda been 100x better.

i agree with u.
its always tough to like a game-turned movie because these directors leave out parts of the story gamers feel are important.. or the story just isn't done as well as the game was telling it.

but from a movie point of view, its pretty good.. obviously a fan of the game won't enjoy it.. which btw is common for most game-turned movies.

that happen whit anacondas 2 the first one was cool but the second not good

so if I wacht RE2 and is bad I will lose the hope on every movie based in a game

I couldn't agree more. I tend to know good movies from bad movies, and I was extremely upset to see this movie fail. I loved the first one, but the sequel was just a HUGE letdown. I could go on and on, but I just have to say one thing....STAY AWAY FROM THIS MOVIE AT ALL COSTS!

This movie is down there with House of the Dead as one of the worst zombie movies ever.

I agree i played and beat every RE game and the movie was a huge let down.. although it kept me interested, to see nemisis was a joke. The one thing that i didn't like the most was how the movie just let every cat out of the bag about how bad umbrella was across the hole world but in the games you only got to see that a little bit at a time. All in all i like the games better than the movies, ( duh ) but i think that outbreak blew.... Multiplayer RE no thank you

Yes i totaly agree RE2 ( the game ) was the best overall RE game although the orgional wasn't close behind it.

i havent even played the games and i hated it.

All of the "fight" scenes consisted of a ridiculously shaky camera showing half of each punch/shot/kick/whatever. It was just too horribly done.

I'm ok with movie writers changing details and stuff from the game to make it more palatable for a movie...

...it's just the first one really was horrid. Bad writing, bad acting, bad special effects, bad "action" (Quick! Let's stand here and shoot the zombies a bit more while the editor changes camera angle every .2 seconds! FRANTIC!!), bad soundtrack...everything about it was just plain bad for me, failing to meet the extremely low expectations I had of it. It was a bad movie, simple as that really.

yea.. thats annoying so much. the trailers and shiet looks sooo god damn cool and then the movie sucks so hard. (well I shouldnt say that coz I havent seen it yet ). Got 2 stars from ign.. that sure is sucky.
and yes RE2 was the best RE game I unlocked the Hunk mission.. Umbrella agent.. those d00ds who gets pwned by William.
