thats pretty sweet graphx...............

This time..it takes place in a desert...mostly in open daylight. Of course there will be times when you enter dark buildings.

i just hope they release some footage of the next silent hill soon

absolutely brilliant graphics.................. KILLZONE 2 graphics still ownnss!!!.

Running zombies? Will they ever learn? The only way zombies should ever run should be if they aren't dead yet. Still... looks good.

Zombies were better when they shuffled along and moaned, all this new fangled 'running' is ruining the old school zombie thing.

looks like is going to be scary now cuz hey that zombies are very fast

I bet if all the zombie purists in the world made a game, it would beat the socks off Resi.

Ahem...Pre-rendered graphics?? As in CG scene?? Yes, that does look good, too bad the game won't look like that though.

oh noes! It looks like it's going to be a game about killing terrorists in the Middle East!!!

'Old-skool' or 'tr00' zombies were some of the most un-scariest things ever. I don't understand how people actually die, sometimes. These things walk after you, or shuffle, and yet at the end of most films, half the survivors are dead? Fair enough when people die because they get out-numbered or are trying to be a hero by holding a door, but still.

Um, anyway.

Trailer looks nice, saw it in school yesterday. Whatever they were running down that alley sure were going fast, judging by the shadows anyway.

I have to agree.

The old, slow zombies were never anything but good comedy :) The idea of being trapped in a room full of them, with all the exits blocked, is certainly unnerving and uncomfortably claustrophobic, but not as scary as hearing a flesh starved loony tearing down a corridor towards you.

(there's also only so much you can do with traditional zombies - it being likely to turn into a 'wade through the bad guys with a hedge trimmer' game, rather than survial horror)

A combination of both types would work well imo. Hearing the rapid footsteps of crazed zombies behind you, getting closer and closer, you run into a room for safety and shut the door behind you. 'phew, i'm safe'. Realising the room is pitch black you flick on the light and are suddenly nose to nose with 10 shufflers, arms hanging out infront of them.

I'd shit my pants :)

(I do hope RE5 does have zombies though, and not possesed/inhabited people. It's so much more scary and unnatural when the bad guys are dead)

There are some very nice large sized scans from RE5 (from some Japanease magazine, nice quality too) out on the web.

Graphics = flaptastic.
