Respawning breakable glass?

Sorry if this is posted elsewhere I couldn't find it. I got breakable glass to work no problem, but I was wondering if there is some way to make it respawn after it gets broken? I remember makin the same map for CS on the hl1 engine and there was no way to do it. I had to work with really fast doors and some gib throwers. I really like the glass in hl2 though so if anybody knows a way to make it respawn please let me know.
 
hmmm, that's an interesting question...

you might be able to do it with a trigger brush, but I'm not even sure that would work.
 
As far as I know there is no way to spawn brush-based entities. You could possibly model it and spawn it as a prop thru a gib-shooter or something, but that is the best I can tell ya!
 
Ok a thought occured to me, the physics props in lockdown like the sinks on the walls, those respawn back up on the wall right? So do I need to model a pane of glass in 3dmax or something and make it a physics model? Is it possible to make breakable physics models like glass?
