Retail V Steam Silver

Can anyone advise what the difference is ?

Going to buy it today, but was hoping to also have DoD and CS too, are these bundled with the retail version ? If they arent I will download through Steam, though I am a bit concerend by all the bugs reported in other threads.

Please help, I plan to buy it at lunchtime...

You don't get access to HL2 or DOD2 with Retail. AFAIK.
