Man, thats ridiculous. I mean, why couldn't she just let her daughter go to an all girls school. its weird. even if there was a reason to go to the boys school, shouldn't it just not be an option?

Having gone to an all boys school before I can say not only are they boring as hell, they are completely unecessary. So while I agree to an extent with the mom about those schools being stupid, it was an incredibly bad idea to put her daughter there.

I've heard the same from a friend of mine who went to an all-girl school. Y'know, it would just really be a whole heap of easy if they'd just get rid of that shit and just have nice, normal schools with both boys and girls, where incessant teasing, bullying and sexual frustration can go hand in hand instead of being mutually exclusive.

Having gone to an all boys school before I can say not only are they boring as hell, they are completely unecessary.

There were 3 schools in the town I went to school in (They've now all joined into one big school). There was an all-boys, an all-girls and a mixed. I went to the boys' one for 4 years but I've never heard anyone make serious complaints about going to a school of the one gender. Of course there's always going to be guys talking macho crap about what they'd do in a mixed school, but no one seemed to actually mind that much.
