Returning

I bought the collectors edition of HL2, but since HL:Source isn't what I wanted it to be, and I don't want to wait to upgrade my computer to play it, I want to return it. The problem is, I can't return it because the store doesn't know if I've registered it or not, since I opened it. I've only opened it twice, once to look at the stuff, and once to make sure everything was there before I returned it, I mean, I haven't even opened the cd case yet. So I was wondering if there was any way to get Valve to validate that I haven't registered my copy of HL2 so I can return it, or if there was any way to return HL2.

i am afraid there is currently no way for you to get your money back.
you could try to sell it second hand ... u have to find someone who believes you that you didnt used the key though ...
