Oh how I missed it...
Over a month ago, I was having trouble with my tire. Basically it kept on popping. I naturally assumed that I was either riding through the same roough patch, or there was something stuck in the tire. I procrastinated a lot in replacing the inner tube for various reasons, and it was horrible. I felt my fittness level drop, my stomach softened my legs bacame...flabby (Relatively speaking of course...I'm not one of your avarage fatties I weigh under 12 stone -14 pounds to a stone, at the moment because of not riding my bike). Anyway, when I did eventually buy a new inner tube, I then noticed that in fact the outer tire had split, which is what was causing the blowouts.
So now its fixed, and I'm finaly able to start riding it again. I've been going to college the past few days on my bike again and last night I went out for one of my nightly rides (I used to go out everynight except saturday when I work till 10). Its actually quite a lot colder than it was a few months ago when I last went out at night on my bike It was also very misty as well...I could probably see about 10 metres in front of me. Quite surreal riding down my regular rout actually, because its a very wide , long and straight road so mostly what I could see was tarmac and thats it. Every so often I would see a white glow behind me...which suggests to me that I should move to the side Of course, because of the cold air and the mist...ice forms. Notable, it was forming on the leading edge of my bike, and myself I didn't feel cold of course, because I was riding hard, but I actually had layer of ice across my front, arms, and legs.
Anyway, I'm going out now...Into the mist once again.
