Guys my dog, Penny, just died like right in front of me... she had a seizure and kinda spazzed out and is now dead ;(. She was going on about 14 years old... I can't stop crying, I'm sorry I can't write anymore. Just thought you guys would be able to give me some comfort or whatnot. ;(

I'm really sorry dude... I know what its like to loose such a life long animal companion. Recently I had a cat that was 21 years old that died. I'm 17, so I've known him all my life. grew up with that cat... it was so hard for him to be gone. He was a great cat too. Miss him a lot. Didnt see him die in front of me though... he was put down at the vet... to say the least, he was falling apart on the inside and it was time.

;(

A while ago my grandma's dog Peaches, who I've known and loved my whole life died. I didn't cry about it, but was upset.

A little over a year ago my parrot who I had for about 7 years died.
She was such a good parrot. I was her favorite to be around. She would sleep on the edge of my pillow at night. I loved her. It's hard to think a parrot can be as close as a dog, but it was everything like it. She was very close.

I woke up about a week into 8th grade, realizing it was past time for waking up for school. I went to the bathroom and my mom called me from her room down the hall...
I was torn apart. Thankfully it was a Thursday and I only had to skip 2 days of school before the weekend where I could get back to a state of being out in public.

Burrying her in my back yard was very painful too.

This is making me cry...
We have another parrot we got shortly after. Hope she lives long.

;(

i met a parrot once who was 72 years old..

I'm really sorry, dude. Must be really hard for you.

I had a cat, that died about 6 months ago. Just, suddenly, its kidneys gave out and was put down. I had it since I was about 6 years old.

I had a dog, that died about 2 months ago. Just, suddenly, its liver gave out and was put down. I had it since I was about 5 years old.

So I know what its like. :( I'm really sorry, dude, I hope you feel better soon.

I kinda know the feeling, my cat slowly bled to death on the inside because she ate a poisonus plant, she was only 4 tho, quite the sad thing to lose a pet.

my condolences, it's tough to lose a family member ..the hurt goes away eventually

I'm not crying anymore, but I just can't believe my little Penny girl is gone! :'( I'm tryin' to look on the bright side... but there really isn't one, y'know?

Jesus. What a way to go.
I don't know what I'd do if my dog died. He's about that age but I try not to think not to think about it.
You have my condolences.

Was she ill before or was it really sudden?

I have lost 5 dogs and 2 cats...it sucks but think of all the money and time you will save!

I know how you feel NSPIRE. When I was like 7 years old, my German Shepard died. His name was Dexter and he was so smart. My dad trained him so well. We would say "Dexter, smile!" and he would show all of his teeth and wag his tail. He was the nicest dog...never hurt anyone. My dad and mom bought him a few years before I was born, so I had him up until age seven. If you called him over to you, he would come and wait patiently for what you want him to do. "We'd say "Sit" and then he'd sit down and start wagging his tail. Then we'd say "Shake" and he would put his paw in my hand. ;(

I'm sure your dog was like that for you too.

Actually about 3 days before this happened I had noticed that she wasn't eating or drinking and she had become extremely slow... even more so than usual. So it wasn't that sudden, so I had some warning I guess...

I know how you feel! I've had three guinea pigs die, but I petted them and held them and loved them a lot in their last hours ;(

my dog went into the neighbors yard and he shot her with a shotgun. i guess what im saying is its better than to be shot with a shotgun.

I've lost a lot of pets over the years, and it's always a bite in the arse. You have to be a bit more realistic about it though...

Penny is in a better place guy. Flopping around eating a bone, and hanging with the studs. She's probably more worried that you're stuck in this.... place. Remember the good times, keep her in your heart and mind and you'll always have a true companion. True?

Hang in there man.

Dude, you've said the best thing that anyone's said to me so far :D. That really made me feel a lot better, thanks for that bro. ^__^

I hate it when I lose a pet. My rat died a while ago and I cried :( Felt bad for the other rat cause it no longer had another rat to play with :(

You're welcome. :)

At the same time, your words hurt me Beast, for I do not believe in a place we go to when we die ;)

:D

It's all subjective Dalamari. If you don't believe in an afterlife, then it stands to reason that whomever has passed has finished their purpose here. Either way, it seems like a good thing to me. :)

I had rats when i was younger. I think you should by a new rat cuz rats need company. I had 2 rats when the first died the otherone didint feel good at all and died a few weeks later...

Yeah, rats die quickly it seems to me... I had 'em when I was young, too... both seemed to die after a couple of months. I wasn't too torn, though considering I was so young :).

I lost a pet once.

That's the reason im blocking the getting of another one, because i don't wanna go through the pain again.
