Rock Band: The Beatles

Wow. I was wondering who cared about this during the whole time everyone was one stage. I love the Beatles, but this...not this.

I never played those Rock band games but I like this one.
 
Alright I was smiling pretty hard throughout that whole video. Cant wait.

Yeah, the intro for that is fantastic. I love the amount of respect the Rock Band team has for their job, and I want to get my hands on this at some point, no question.

Edit: Pitz, this is the only Rock Band artist specific pack they've done, and it seems to have been contractual for them to get the music that they needed to put out a seperate box for it. They haven't been milking their franchise anywhere the level that Activision and Guitar Hero have been.
 
Wow. I was thinking for the first half of the video, all of their good shit was just studio releases, and they didn't play for live audiences... then it showed them playing in a studio. And then it had the performance on the roof of their place and paul had a beard. I was like... whoah.

I like the look of this but I don't think anyone I know actually likes the Beatles enough to play it with me.

Might pass this one.... The songs really did not phase me at all. Except maybe the last two songs they played. Hehe Under the sea.
 
Looks visually awesome. Too bad the music is by the Beatles.

So you hate Rock Band because they might in the future go wild with the franchise?
 
When did I ever say I hated them? I love Rock band and the Guitar Hero games. If you'd look at any of the other threads with those games, you'd see I play them quite often.

I didn't know I was playing Jump To Conclusions!
 
Tentatively looking forward to this. I don't imagine it'll be very challenging, but singing and playing guitar with someone else doing exactly the same sounds pretty cool.
 
They've been excellent with the DLC so far with Rock Band 1 and 2, putting new stuff on their instead of releasing new games, and they already seemed to have confirmed Abbey Road DLC at launch for this. So I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt, and I'll only accuse them of trying to squeeze some extra cash if we see them start releasing new games yearly.

Can't really rock out to The Beatles so I think this a really lame choice for a new game.

No, I don't dislike The Beatles... but I don't love and worship them either.
 
man you guys are broken. how can you not like the beatles? it's like saying you dont like beethoven, art in general or breathing eating, taking the occasionaly dump ...but really there's something wrong with you ...like really really wrong, so wrong that it's just not right
 
Yeah, I'm amazed at the amount of people who dislike The Beatles. Great band with a great sound. I agree with Mr. Sam, though, not entirely sure how difficult it will be.
 
I like late Beatles, quite dislike the early (i.e. Please Please Me etc.) Beatles.
 
I found it amusing that in the original Rock Band, the Oasis song "Wonderwall" was more difficult to play than on a real guitar.

I'm sure they can do some stuff to tweak the Beatles songs.
