damn...never heard of this band before.

pretty extreme if you ask me...well, not that fisting a pussy is something new, but doing it on stage in front of the audience is quite unusual for a music band (if we can call them that).

I know it gets pretty rough and ridiculously hot right at the front of most gigs, but I draw the line at getting coated in piss. Crowd surf me to the back...damn.
 
I've been to at least two concerts where there was fisting of this nature on stage. They were opening acts for a couple of hardcore shows at 924 Gilman St. (can't remember who. Man is the Bastard maybe?) Does anyone else attend hardcore/punk rock concerts? I haven't been in years, so maybe the 'scene' has mellowed out (which is unlikely).

...sounds like their U.S. Tour should be called '2 Grrlz, 1 Cup'.

sure it's shock value, but interesting nonetheless. actually they can play music, just not my style.

personally i don't find anything morally wrong with that kind of stage performance, i'm not a prude, that's for sure. i just like seeing people pushing the limits of social acceptance.

oh and btw...they are not popular
 
Well I would not have heard of them if they weren't pissing on each other, and if you hadn't posted it.

I was sort of joking though, I am not actually upset about bands like this exploiting shock value, though I do think it's stupid.

I wouldn't really say this has any relevance to "pushing the limits of social acceptance" though. I'm pretty sure this isn't socially accepted. Even if it was, they are pushing no limits.

i like strange news/events (other people might too), it's far more interesting that listening how Bush thinks Iraq is a success.

sure it's stupid, but hey, they aren't hurting nobody.

sure it does push the limits...if they did this 40 years ago in Texas they'd probably be hanging...correction, they'd probably be hanging even today in texas.
i'd say the young public probably would accept them, it's the uptight politicians that don't.

To incorporate it into a rock performance, sure, but that doesn't really mean much.

actually come to think of it...their performance truly adds to their type of songs. For example "Whores of Satan", i think making nasty shit is quite relevant to the song.
 
Yeah but we all know that's bullshit.

It's like the people who say they watch Naked News for the news content. It's just silly excuses.

I mean sure, to a degree useless things like that are interesting/fun/cool to add to the appeal of an artist, but this is a little too much.
 
Music is about the music. Yes a good live performance or theme to the band is part of the artist's creation, sometimes its just a little to riciulous simply to get attention. This is such a case.

This is no more outrageous than what all male punk rock groups have been doing for a very, very long time. Of course the fact that they have vaginas is pretty scary though, amirite? Groups like this very rarely claim they aren't just as much about freak outs as they are music -- it's their shindig!
