Well of course don't go slow, but it seems programmed that you can never overtake the person you're chasing, so if you go full speed, they just go faster.

Yes the chase scenes seem heavily scripted now. Other things going on around you are scripted, such as vehicles crashing etc. Even the car you are chasing stays on a direct path and makes turns that dont look smooth at all. Not to mention you cant even catch them.

If you have to replay one of these missions you'll notice the same exact things happen every time. Kind of sucks tbh.

I find it funny that in nearly every chase, without fail, there's be a truck carrying a giant pile of logs that tips over. Makes me chuckle every time.
