Ok, In HL1 we hear the G-man say in the end "Reagan is my leader". That means many things.

#1- The 2nd shooter was obviously Gordon Freeman

#2- The consistancy in chocolate pudding has constantly reduced over the years, this would explain why Nihilath is carbon based.

#3-Gordon Freeman and G-man are the same person (haha, yeah right!)

#4- The movie "Aliens" was a direct re-tell of Half-life so that would make it a true story. And one of few survivors (Jack O'Reilly) dissapeared shortly after its release..that seems a little odd eh?

#5- Jimmy Page and Robert Plant actually destroyed Xen with the help of the power of ROCK!

#6- Tom Cruise sucks at acting

#7- FDR's wheelchair was Xen powered.

Itty bitty baby, itty bitty boat!
I DON'T BELIEVE IT!
HABEEB IT!
TWINKIE HOUSE!

I think Tom Cruise did fairly well in War of the Worlds :\

the only good thing about war of the worlds was the sound that the striders made.
VRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMm

My god! It's all so obvious now!
The truth is out there!!!

(pssst, who's the man smoking cigarettes outside my window?)

TWINKIE HOUSE!

This image is a metaphor for the Combine presence on Earth. The large man with the tall head obviously represents the Combine, oppressing Earth with his cries of "HABEEB IT!" The grasped man is obviously the resistance, defiantly lashing out at the Combine presence, while yelling "TWINKIE HOUSE!"

Okay... what it the symbolic significance of the man representing the combine having brightly coloured fingernails?

The multiple colours represent the several facets of the Combine: Overwatch, Military, Synth, and Stalkers.

HABEEB IT!

I'd add that the man's tall hair evokes the towering austerity of the Combine Citadels (as does the "blue" colour of his shirt). His cries of 'Itty Bitty Baby' are like that of a doting mother to her baby child, just as we are but children to the Combine. Breen, like the Habeeb It Man, mollycoddles the human race, treats it like an infant, patronises it, fusses and dotes over it.

Furthermore, the human figure is not only somewhat young in appearance (which supports the above) but also, clearly, a stereotypical "working man" with his baseball cap, white shirt and dungarees, recalling the historic spirit of 'revolution - the working man rises up against his oppressor. Thus, parallels are drawn between the Russian and the Combine revolutions, but also gives us an interesting message: the Combine are quite openly alike to the Soviets (and City-17 is within old Soviet territory), and so we see that revolution is a constant cycle. Those who once were oppressed have risen to take the place of their oppressors, only to be challenged in turn by a new revolution. The fiery red colour of the background evokes the flames of revolution, the destruction and the 'Red' image of the Soviet regime.

A final note: "Twinkie house" is truly a reflection on the muddle ideals of the human resistance. The "Twinkie" - sickly American confectionary - is an artefact from a distant past where ultracapitalism ruled the world in decadence - a time of plenty where "twinkies" might be consumed at leisure (as opposed to this harsh dystopia where the only sustenance is Combine-approved rations and amnesia-inducing water). Thus humanity's battle cry is typical of the species: nostalgic rage at what has been lost, and what might once be had again.

The actual cry, however, makes no sense at all. "Twinkie house". What does it mean? Nothing at all - that's the point. The human resistance is so obsessed with its ideals of freedom, its revolutionary zeal pilfered from Lenin and Guavera, that it doesn't even know quite what it's fighting for, in love as it is with the idea of revolt. Breen taunts us nearing the end of the game, and constantly tells us that what we're doing is counter-productive. Instead of embracing evolution and advancement with open arms, the human resistance sparks a revolution for no purpose other than the idea of revolution itself cries its nonsensical battle cry: confused, nostalgic, but ultimately as a whole quite meaningless.

Alas, John Bonham fell in battle. Let us weep for him. Woe is me. ;(

With Sulkdodd's post, this has to be the best thread ever.

I belive the trouble with the consistency of chocolate pudding originates from todays fast paced society. We do not take the time for our pudding to cool sufficiently. The pudding needs at least a couple of hours in the refrigerator before it becomes sufficiently firm. Its easy! simply press a plastic wrap onto the surface of the warm puddings and refrigerate.
(For those who like a skin (film) on the top of their pudding, let the pudding cool uncovered and then cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate.)
