Room 101

I'm sitting here watching 'Room 101' on TV (wow i can multitask!).

It got me thinking, what things would you want to banish forever and why? (into room 101)

boy/girl bands, pop idol, consoles and the gamers who play them (and the devs to develop for them), townies, guinness

the premise of room 101 is to banish things that are personally a pet hate. you see these bigshot celebs wanting to get rid of morris dancers or people who listen to rock music. for me, i despise the stereotypical consoles/gamers/devs. i know plenty of the above who are decent folk, it's just the sterotype that i hate. townies and pop idol should be no argument, unless you're a townie who watches pop idol?

there's a tv show that comes on BBC2 here in the UK where celebs come on and tell everyone what they hate and why they want it in room 101. it's just for a bit of entertainment really. the topic of the thread could easily be "what are your pet hates?"

room 101 is originally from the book 1984 where room 101 is depicted as something really terrible and it contains your worst fears. for the main character in the book, his room 101 is putting his head in a cage full of rats that will bite parts of his face off.
