Rotating held objects...

Could somebody mod in a way to rotate the objects that you pick up? Left, right, up, down kind of deal.

I hate having to knock the objects against other things to make them face the way I need them to face.
 
yeah, like when you open that door which has a bar across it to hold it shut, took me like 10 minutes to put it back (i like to barricade myself in to be safe :thumbs:
 
I'd like to see that too. Especially in the parts where you set up turrets. I hated how they'd sometimes get set up sideways so they're a breeze to knock over :(
 
would be cool if a little confusing. I actually chucked a turret with the gravity gun and it landed upright :D

why not just use the arrow keys to rotate it left right up and down? doesnt seem so confusing to me :-/
 
I found that if you look upwards and around in differant directions it will rotate things.
 
With a bit of coding, I bet you could make those mice with dual scroll wheels rotate an object on two different axis.

I'm sure its entirely possible for a coder to allow for rotating, since its all just physics it wouldn't be as complex as trying to do it in a game without.
 
i think you could just change it so the next and previous weapon commands do something different when you're holding an object with the grav gun
