All three cost about $93,000,000 each to make and then theres $50,000,000 ontop of that in marketing for each movie so the total cost of the trilogy is $450 mil give or take.

Now the first two films grossed worldwide $1,800,000,000 (1.8bn) so as you can imagine New Line Cinema are rather anxious to be granted rights to make The Hobbit from united artists who bought the rights many years ago.

Why was Titanic a crappy movie? Because it was a drama, and ship didn't get blown up by Ahnuld’s awesome muscles? I think it was, and is, visually stunning movie, which can steer up some emotions in me (no, not Leo dying moment).

As for the Lord of the Rings, can’t wait, but alas stupid finals took all the time I had. Ah, but I already got tickets on Sunday evening run. Good for PJ and crew.
