yup makin an rpd heres how its turning out so far, alot of polies 2000 (lots of wasted faces) wee optimization is going ot be so fun.

Looks alright, except for how the foregrip is shaped, and you're missing a part under the barrel just in front of the foregrip.

yeah i havent finished the barrels thats why its not in the picture. and as for the fore grip it is shaped quite correctly , show me some pictures if you think i am wrong.

The foregrip looks like it should be a little shorter, and the indentation needs to be a little less deep, and the walls around the indentation should slope, instead of going straight in. (It could also be a little more rounded, and thicker.)

yeah the curves on your model are straight and not as subtle and smooth as on the model but i think thats coz ur not giving much importance to it as it wont be seen or noticed much.

as for the magazine it has two handles ....the real rpd only has one :S

UPDATE 3200 tris

thinking i might have to play with the bullets i put little links on them thats whats sucking polies i think any way now im basically down to the barrels and foresight

finished now to optimize its 4010 polies yikes need it atleast 3500 time to start takin away details

stick up wires of each part and we might be able to help out. i can think of a few areas where you can often optimize, but i need to see how youve done it in the first place.

i have a hunch that a bit of it is in the aiming sights.
the next area would be the barrel and the butt stalk .
but we cant say for sure until u post those wires id love to skin this one too lol.
