RSS Feed is broken

It didn't like the "&" sign in Resistance & Liberation. So he changed it to "Resistance and Liberation"

The RSS Feed uses "&" in its code.

Let me start from the beginning.

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is often referred to as a "News Feed". With certain software (or Firefox Live Bookmarks), you can monitor these RSS/News feeds.

For example, if you use Firefox and created a Live Bookmark to our news feed (http://www.halflife2.net/forums/external.php?type=rss2&forumids=32), then whenever you go to your Bookmarks and clicked Halflife2.net, it would show you a list of the titles of all the news posts we've posted recently.

You can then click on these and it'd take you directly to the news post.

Because it's dynamic, as soon as there's a new news post, it appears on the RSS feed too.

There's other software available as well that will actually notify you whenever there is updates to an RSS feed.


This thread was created because there was an error with our news feed. The error was caused by the use of the "&" sign in a news post title. RSS news feed don't like these so when I changed it from & to "and" it fixed the problem.

Yeah, they need to replace the & -sign with the html code for it ( &amp; a m p ; ) <-- Without the spaces. The RSS feed should allow it then.
