RTK has sent news to us regarding an upcoming playtest and a call to the mappers out in the community.

RTK Development.com is pleased to announce the opening of there Beta Testing Forums. They are now accepting applications from anyone interested in joining their Beta Test Team. This team will eventually be the primary testing group of the modification SR 2053. In addition this team will take part in testing custom community content, not just RTK Development Materials. So if you are a developer and really want to give your map the proper bug free send off, they are here to help. Within the next few weeks they will begin beta testing RTK_Iire, a map set in the burial grounds of an Irish castle. To participate in what is surely going to be a spectacular event and a testament to the quality of work done by RTK Development, and its partners in the community.[br]</br>

never heard of this before. Wonder how it slipped under my radar. Don't remember seeing any other news postings of it.

ya they often dont post some of the mods until there is a lot of solid work done (i.e. several models or maps) to avoid having to constantly update posts. I've seen several nice looking mods that havent been featured on the main page. This is usually because they are earlier on in development and havent uploaded enough media to interest the community.

As far as this map goes, i really like the second picture. The first one seems kinda bland architecturally, but the theme is right on. The second picture is really beautiful and could make for some interesting ingame fights.
