Run off of Area 51 thread

wanted to give some info to those who dont know about area 51.
* Located in Nevada
* Workers fly in from the pyramid place in las vegas on a private aircraft, must have correct passes
*government denies work ongoing at the facility, but sattelite images show different, numerous trucks have been going in and out, test aircrafts are always flying around.
*On a discovery channel show, viewers watch from safe perimeters with high powered binoculors and see hovering lights moving around, beleived to be some sort of new prototype craft.
*If you go across the line the dudes in suv's come and have permission to shoot at any time, they are also taking measures to cut off people from watching on the surrounding mountains.
*There are also helicopters surveying area, and you wont be able to hear them if they fly 20 feet over your head.
*INTERESTING: There is also an area: 4-something, and it is a bunch of wires on a phone line type contraption that goes out to the middle of nowhere in the nevada desert and then suddenly stops and goes down into the ground. Yes it just stops in some random location in the middle of the desert.
*Wouldnt it be cool if everyone in nevada and neighboring states just rushed into it? The guards coudnt take everyone down : ), or could they.......
 
Excuse me? EDIT: oh ok lol. No, there arent minefieds to my knowledge, or else those suvs would have a tought time getting around : )
 
Or maybe the mines are only detonated by stupid people... with really big heads
 
I thought Mines were illegal in the western world, and the US wouldnt be able to use them anyway?

ahh, these sort of installation's are above the law ;), they will be government funded, but other organisation's will have invested intrest's too, such as energy companies, and the military of course, and perhaps certain manufacturer's, government's dont work alone when money and national security are envolved.

they would not shoot a lot of people rushing the base think of how bad that would be for the USA
 
Is the united states really allowed to enforce such secrecy over a location? just wondering.. Doesn't look like Iraq is, hehe.

If it is a government installation, I think they are free to be as secretive as they want...especially if they say it is in the interest of National Security ;)

I wonder if anyone has actually been shot while surveying Area 51?
 
We'll find out if theres any mines when we break in. It'll be like MOH:AA only with less beach landings and German machine gunners.
 
OOO, I just got a great mod idea! Invade Nevada and find the Area 51 site, then fight your way through the humvees and helicopters! Ok, maybe it sucks....

Does anyone want to see the location? I took satelite photos using globeexplorer, and they match the photos you will see at web sites. They are too large to put on this site though, so i can show u through messenger, AIM.

i'm sorry, but I have to correct you on this one : workers don't ''fly'' to area 51 from the pyramid in las vegas, they ''teleport'' from the pyramids in egypt. And no, they dont have mine fields because they dont need them. Instead they use a giant laser gun that ressembles to the obelisk of light to destroy flying objects and a giant tesla coil that automatically fries anything that approaches.

It happens quite often that people got cooked by the tesla coils, so they sell the remains to McDonalds to make chikken McNuggets.

I ate at the McDonalds in the pyramid. I bought 8 apple pies.

They don't fly from the Luxor(the pyramid-shaped casino). The Airport is located right by Luxor and thats where they fly....because it's where the airplanes are. It's not like you can just hope on it from a gate. The Area-51 employees enter from an outside parking lot then climb the plane stairs.

I've seen the Area-51 plane in-flight overhead numerous times. (besides the fact that i live by the airport ;p)

Um no because the security of the country I live in would be threatenned by morons rushing in and leaking all of Area51 information so that countries like North Korea and Russia could use them to thier advantage. I'm sorry but I think I like my country feeling safe instead of not... Props to those who keep our technology secret that gives us an advantage in war. BTW, no I am not very patriotic as a matter of fact, just feel more secure in a secure nation...
