russ feingold is the only person in the democratic party these days with any cajones. he stands up for what he believes in not what the majority tells him to...this "going against the current" style of politics is what makes him a great candidate to take down the republicans in the 2008 election of this great "democracy" we know and once loved. talk about freedoms being restricted...you won't find a muslim in this country sans wire tap, and the patriot act authorizes (apparently) Mr. Bush to conduct completely illigitimate wire taps with no authorization whatsoever from the higher courts. this country is becoming completely backwards and our founding fathers are tossing and turning in their graves as i write this. this sort of thing is what, in the past, has led to dictatorships, whether it be soviet russia, or nazi germany, there was a sieze of power by the gov't, and that is whats happening right now.

nah, McCain is too conservative (what republican isnt?) and supports Bush's policies on iraq ..he's also anti-abortion, supports intelligent design in the classroom, and his anti-torture laws are really more for show than anything else because the president holds final authority over those types of decisions, not too mention that's it's completely un-enforcable

not really, chomsky informs he doesnt speculate. He gives out facts not ideology. He doesnt flipflop, he actually quite clear in his reasoning as it hasnt changed much in 30 years. I saw him a decade ago and I just watched a lecture last month and he's virtually the same in both lectures
