Russian School Massacre

GuNz... maybe you should do this little thing called read the whole thread, right? Yea, thanks.

Do you have to be so awkward GuNz?

Can people stop talking about Stalin? He has very little to do with the siege. .

There, that is what I meant by telling people what to talk about. I realise there is a question mark, but it still comes across as less then a request.

The point about urine is simply a development of the conversation, it was not planned or forced, its just how the topic flowed.

Oh...And yes, the moderators are always right. Thank you for noticing ;)

Actually it might have a lot to do with Stalin. It was probably Stalin's rule with the iron fist that really laid the seed I think.

Yes, I do have to be so awkward :) The statics of the mortalities are also a developement in the conversation. I'm a just slightly offended that people choose to talk about something like the toxicity of urine when the subject is much more serious. If this happened in your country of origin, you would be in a much different mood. Hell, Stalin wouldn't even let this happen, any kind of rebellion would be crushed faster than the speed of light. These idiots don't know that when they blow up airliners or kill kids, they only make the situation MUCH worse for themselves and the innocent people living in Chechnya (not all of them are brainwashed baby killers).

I did, 1/3 of it is about urine, so sue me.

We have already talked about this before though, this is simply another aspect. We are not ignoring how serious the subject is or anything like that, we simply wish to talk about more than one thing.

If it did happen in my country, then yes I might want to talk about it more...Or I might be like I am now, and not want to dwell on it all the time.

Bah, this whole subject sickens me. Civilian deaths are happening everywhere in the world, nowadays. I'm sure in many cases, it could be avoided. This whole hostage incident makes me litterally feel ill from time to time when I think about it. One form of evil begets another form of evil and things will get worse and worse.

As far as Stalin goes, I know little about him, so I'll stay away from the subject. I enjoy reading whatever info you post about him though, very educational.........(Did I just say that?!??!?!?!)

Yeah well I grew up in Manchester (Stockport), remember the Arendale(sp?) Shopping center bombing in 1996? I went shopping on that day, if I was 10 minutes early, I might have been mutilated or something

I remember that day, I used to live pretty close. I heard the blast and saw smoke etc. Although actually Manchester is a lot better for it, and since nobody died...Its all good :D (Well...Mostly ;))

In my opinion, Stalin was in a way a terrorist himself, he terrorized his own people. He murdered them in large numbers and sent them to the gulags in Siberia. My grandmother told me that when he died, most of the monuments dedicated to him were taken down over night. Life became less tense and everything became calmer. Just about everybody hated his rule, except for the butt-kissers that lived a life others could only dream of.

Yeah, khrushchev started undertaking De stalinisation to remove the so called "cult of Stalin" that had existed. Partly it was to relieve tension that was around, but it was also to fix himself in the leading postion, so to speak. He didn't want everyone looking at the statues of stalin still living in fear of him, as opposed to looking towards khrushchev himself.

The thing about the communists, and Stalin in particular. They were often called "The Red tsars" because they ran the country in a very similar way, in many aspects, to the imperials before them.

Calling him a terrorist is certainly an interesting way of looking at it. There are so many ways you can interpret his rule though, although he did rule by terror. Stalin did himself I think say something like "Loyalty can waver, but fear does not" That isnt exactly it, but basically he felt that fear would keep th epopulation in check, rather than being all nice and winning them over.

Urine is NOT toxic, it's completely sterile. My dad's a doctor, I know these things. And it was towards the bottom of the CNN Article, if you even took time to read it.

no article was posted, i've only seen it on cnn and various other news stations. dont assume that everyones looking at what you are.

why dont you ask daddy what happens to urine after it comes out the bladder. do you think its sterile after it passes through the genitals and all over their hands, and the floor or whatever?

Hey, I have an idea, let's all be assholes about it! Urine doesn't pass through your testicles (if that's what you meant by genitals), just through your 'shaft' / urethra. I highly doubt that they were gonna' say, "Crap my hands are dirty..." and then not carry out with what is essential to their life. Okay, I'm done. <3 <3 <3

we just need to drop some MOAB's on chechjhiuexlod whatever its called, and call it a day. if anything moves, just have a plane shoot a missle at it. no crazy muslim terrosist will do anything then (the chech rebels are mostly muslim)

Stalin made a lot of good for Russia, but for the World it was mostly seen it in bad eyes. Nevertheless, Koba was insane.

But that means nothing. if he was in Putin's place he wouldn't be able to do much anyway without nuking Chechnya.

Sounds like a good idea to me. Even if the terroirst's children die. Well the terrorist are just gonna teach their children to be terrorist. That sounds really cold, but I'm sorry. Killing 200+ children is absolutely intolerable. Blow them all to hell.

Whereas wiping out an entire people is what exactly?

People in the west have been saying that Putin should negotiate with the terrorists/rebels/dudes. Putin replied that shouldn't the US negotiate with Bin Laden & Co?

That's a pretty clever response.

Maybe Russia should look into building a wall similar to what Israel built. There are no attacks where there is a wall.

If you'd simply leave, the attacks would stop. Since you are not leaving, the attacks will never stop. And that's that. You are in the middle of a war.

I think you have roughly 3 days after the effects of dehydration kick in. Drinking your own urine isn't really gonna help you, it's toxic.

Wrong!

Comparing to Fresh Water, Salt Water, and Urine, Pee is generally second cleanest after Fresh Water.

Pee also, is not toxic, and does not function as a poison. It contains acidics, but drinking them have no adverse affects on your body. Infact, drinking pee is like drinking acidic water, and thats pretty much it.

For the smells you might get with Urine, thats just burned sugar, and what your bladder smells like. At the time. For just that moment. :D

Pee is toxic.

Although for it to do anything to you, you'd have to drink a lot of it.

I thought it was alkaline, not acidic. However, your point still stands either way.

You can't live off urine for very long, because evetually the water will have all been extracted out of it and it will come out very strong and full of nothing much but waste. It would be very dark in colour and likely give a warm(not temperature), possibly even burning sensation when it came out. Its only really toxic if you've been consuming crappy food and liquids.
