It has an R360 Core, which is that used in the 9800 XT. There's really no noticable advatantage, except for possibly more flexibility in flashing to the XT bios to gain a bit of speed.

I have the MSI 9800 pro 128mb and it's a great card that overclocks excellently.

Once you get it flash it to an XT... I have done mine and I do notice alot more speed from her...

Before I flashed I played Farcry on medium and custom settings I now play on high and custom settings. My FPS on High custom is a steady 80FPS only dropping to about 60+ in fire fights.
