Anyway, only about a month left. The Collector's Edition has been announced, and the EU version blows. I don't think one is even coming out in America. The EU version has a map and an extras CD. This is the Russian version-

It comes with:

* Faction chevrons
* "S.T.A.L.K.E.R." lighter
* Bonus cd
* S.T.A.L.K.E.R. jeton

All in a nice box. I might actually just ebay it.

Im not sure what a jeton is, but im pretty sure a chevron is just some sort of patch that you sew onto your clothing, usually on your sleeve.


EDIT: Newb, a 2 second google search defines a chevron being what I said (although its being liberal with that name, since a chevron is actually a specific shape), and a jeton is just like a collectible coin type deal.

Absolutely. It is all kinds of broken in places, but it's brute ugliness is a beautiful thing, and is something to be respected and admired in this day of game design by committee. When you play stalker you're fully there in the moment, nothing else matters during those hours.
