So there're going to release a patch later on after the game is released. Very good news for the co-op fans (ME!) as it brings a new dimention to the game.

fore some reason i think that game is gonna run really badly.

even the developers cant get it to run with a smooth framerate if u look at the movies.


the game will problably be cool though, but i dont like the monster designs they are really stupid and ugly :imu:

These recorded movies run at 30FPS or below...Just a lot of action for that low of FPS.
You can't tell ingame FPS or how playable it is from movies.

well i could see it was close to unplayable like 15 fps or something in some movies, and those movies are from the developers!!!

if they cant get it to work right what performance could we expect? lol :rolling:

YESYESYESYESYESYES. I was in the 100+ page thread that was consisting of people who wanted to get co op in the game, woot I helped get coop woot!

Now I have no doubts about purchasing STALKER, smart move stalker devs!

computers dont make low fps in movies :hmph:

if u cant see how bad the framerate is is most of the movies u need to get ur eyes checked

and im not being "down" or something on stalker im just saying that in the movies it runs really bad

(and the guns feel stupid and the animations look silly :cheese: )

I do see what you guys are talking about in some scenes of this movies...
The guns seem to stutter and the sound of the guns is slightly lagged. But that may of been some old glitch (i hope) and i've seen parts of the movies where a large amount of the level is visible and there doesn't seem to be any slow downs. Hopefully it will be fine on our current Pc's

Just remmeber that because they say its going to have a coop patch doesn't mean it actually will do. Unreal 2 was ment to get coop but that never happened.

I guess the patch will depend on the sales.

Don't want to be such a nay sayer, I really want Coop, I'm just worried they're saying 'It's coming later' because of the sheer numbers of people wanting it implemented.

Cop for doom3 took 4 days to be implemented. I doubt stalker will take months to mod it ? :hmph:

Newbie it's a very horrible version, the fps drops to 1 and the second player can't even see the monsters, not to mention that you can't go ahead in cutscenes, so don't even bother with it.
