I thought STALKER had loads of new minted shit in it that no other games have done yet? surely it will have bumpmapping, thats one of the oldest tricks in the book now

If they delay it all they want well have another DNF on our hands. You don't want that for STALKER. I'm sure they're delaying it to make some major improvements to the game.

A lot of people don't know what it's like or what it's about and that's why they say, "I don't care if it never comes out." I do , this is going to be one hell of a kick ass game. I've known about it for a while but my waiting for HL2 took most attention away from it. Now that I'm not waiting for anything I was researching the game a little more. I already knew the basic concept of the game and what they were going to do but now that I've read about all the details and the kick ass AI I can't wait. I've only been waiting a couple months but after waiting for HL2 I think I can handle anything lol.

They better have implemented co-op which they said would come in a later update since they delayed the game.

Some people tend to be optimistic and hope for the best. Others tend to look at things as the worst they could be. Others compare the good and the bad then guess from that. That's what usually what tends to shape your views on things.

I am optimistic and I always hope for the best. That's why I think this game will rock my socks off .

What we think really doesn't matter in the end though. It all boils down to what actually is.

Stalker will be the first game to have this sort of 'living' interactive world with its own ecological system, the Pc gamer article got me really into playing it. I'll be able to forgive it if it has minor problems, it's a first of many to come i bet. (after they get bought out by EA)

STALKER sounds almost too good to be true. I'm pretty exicted to see how the game turns out, but I don't follow it regularly

I just hope it won't get delayed anymore since it still holds some sort of a potential wow-factor

Stalker is gonna kick ass with it's amazing maps and gameplay freedom but not with it's NPC's, monsters or player models. Some of them simply just look like crap

im still looking forward to it though
