Sam and Max 2 isn't dead!

The developers have gone off and made their own new studio.

An interesting thing is that they're gonna try and avoid getting a publisher; distributing via the internet instead. Much like Valve are trying to do with Steam. I can't wait. I just hope they have the Sam and Max license.

LucasArts almost certainly own the IP on Sam and Max, and as the review states they aint talking I highly doubt they've taken it with them. But some proper new adventure games would be very welcome.

The original was a classic, however I hate it when I get stuck and dont know what to do, I think I got about 30 minutes into it, got stuck and then refused to play it.

Sam and Max was a Lucas arts adventure game that was really fun.

I haven't played much of it myself but it was fun.

I doubt LucasArts will liscense the Sam & Max IP to Telltale. However I hope Telltale will make great games. Why is this once so mighty genre dying? To see someone taking care of adventure games like Telltale really makes me happy.
