Well, I've personally never regarded marriage as anything religious, more as a symbol. And I fail to see how allowing gay people to marry hurts anyone.

Hell, I don't think that most humans are naturally monogamous, anyway...

Why do people ask for the opinions of others, yet take offense when they receive an answer they do not want? Truthfully, I've grown quite weary of these conversations. Yeah, my lash out last month was quite bad, but I've tried to maintain civil conversations with people at all times. Sometimes I may not explain myself right, but I try to keep the offense down. And, I can see others doing it as well.
To say the least, I'm growing tired of talking about how I feel here. I love debates, I love talking about lots of things. But, this has just gotten to a really depressing point. It won't matter whose side I take, I will become fodder. Right now isn't the best time for argument, anyway. So, I think I'll just begin to say my piece and leave. Being that I even decide to do so. Don't get me wrong; We should stand up and voice ourselves, it's just gotten into a melee on these forums. People are getting at eachothers' throats. Why? Why should we have to explain ourselves to eachother? And why should those who agree or disagree be constantly hounded, even harassed through PM or AIM?

I agree with gay marriages, since it would give their partners more rights in Law, and I don't see whats wrong with that

And any idea how that's caused? Simple: because of the lack of a legal bonding, a lot of gay people have short lived relationships and thus more relationships.

It doesn't bother me, and I think they should be allowed to marry. They're not harming anyone by marrying, so why the big fuss? Just because it's not what we consider normal it doesn't mean we should totally alienate gay people from society. They can't help being that way, and, IMO, there's nothing wrong with it.

Ok i see where your coming from, if the christian religion does not allow agree with gays then gay marrage, a christian joining should not be allowed. However... perhaps if they just used non christian alternatives i see no problem
