Same Steam ID

I tried doing a search but I couldn't find anything, maybe I didn't look hard enough. Will your steam id that you use now be the same on hl2 or will it chance since your buying a whole different game. This is kind of off topic but is there a way I can change the username that I sign in with steam?

Your Steam ID is created when you create an account. There will be no rush for lowest SteamIDs, as your SteamID is account based, not CDKey based.

I guess that is good news. Is there anyway I can change the id that I log on to steam with? I heard valve was talked about adding that feature but its not in a hurry to be added? Is that true...
