I was surfing a BitTorrent site (go figure) and I came across Grand Theft Auto: San Adreas, and you wouldn't believe how many people are downloading it, 3133 with only two seeds, and it was just released there. I was wondering, was it leaked, or just released? Either way, damn pirates!

You sure it wasn't a video or something of that sort. What size was it because if its like 40mb it ain't the game lol.

2685MB for the PS2, I'm sure there is no video(trailer) that size...

Yes it seems to be released, this site is turning into a release site :/

well, it is comeing out on tuesday, so i'm not so surprised that it's already leaked, i mean at least it's not as soon as halo2 or anythng

with a mod chip....sheesh somebody doesn't know thier pirateing terms....

is leaked?

do they hav the games in a Pc conected to internet?

maybe, but someone working for a company that got to play San Andreas first probably leaked it onto the net; happens all the time.

Yes, thats usually how it happens.

A really popular thing is for people to do this with movies and release un-released DVD quality movies.

Humm, has anyone played it yet ? Is it like the Halo 2 leack ?

As soon as a game reaces the manufacturer, someone on the production line will steal a copy. Shit happens.

Hopefully Valve will be sensible and encrypt the retail CDs like the pre-load.

Developers and publishers should make background checks on all their employees, or keep a tab on them to avoid this kind of shit.

Surely thats breaking the forums rules to post that link?

Why? If it is please delete it! But i dont think it is. Its just a .nfo file with the info from the pirate release.

I just saw PC Rips and ISO's so i just jumped the gun :p maybe im wrong though.

I bet you it's the same hacker as Halo 2.

So I should report SuprNova? Or just the thousands of IP's downloading and seeding? Also, Alig, NForce isn't an illegal site, it merely tells about new leaks and of the sorts.

Heh, hadn't thought about that option. If it's possible, that's a great idea! Hopefully Valve has incorporated it.

I would like to see a CD with copy right protection that a hacker can't crack. Unfortunately, that's not going to happen.

You will have to activate the game online, so hopefully that will be a deterrent
