san andreas or half life 2???

hi every one!
just thought id start a little vote here.
who thinks that san andreas will be more fun to play than half life 2?? personnally i would prefere to play half life 2 because i enjoy shooting zombies which cannot be done on san andreas.

say what you think is better here and this time next week i will give you the results!!!!

I don't think you can really compare GTA or Half-Life, they are too different.

I dont feel a comparison between such different game can tell us anything to which is better in the slightest. Better in general games section too i guess.
Anyway both are fun...but San Andreas looks awful so HL2 wins.

kind of strange comparing two completely different games. but half life 2 by far. san andreas is a terrible game. i dont know what rockstar was thinking when they made that piece of garbage.

lol auto uncapped it wouldnt u only do that by pressing shift then if he wanted a lower case in the front he wouldnt have helf the shift button and he somehow did for the letters after the capital he would press shift to make them capital

You can't be serious.

1. 3d GTA games have been developed with the PS2 in mind. I'm still kinda surprised that my PS2 even runs San Andreas.
2. I don't know if you noticed, but the GTA engine has to worry about a LOT more than anything going on in HL2. Plus, there's the whole streaming content thing that is going on at all times, something that Source doesn't even attempt to bother with.

I thought it looked really bad on PS2 as well, i thought vice city looked more sharp...everything in San Andreas looks a bit blocky and all the same yellowy/browny colour which depresses me. I dunno...just what my eyes say to me.

If you go out to the forrest everything turns bluish in the night. Because there is no polution from the city.

HL2 is fun, and I dont really like the deathmatch that much. But I rather play San Andreas, you can do more stuff and go mostly anywhere you want. And plus, San Andreas is longer. I've given up on it now since I cant beat one of Zeroes missions. So actually I rather play none.

If you do every mission with a relativly good time, and only do almost every mission once...to get 100% it takes more than 150 hours.

bull crap i beat GTA:SA in a week. it was so easy and the missions sucked. i hated that game so bad because of the week story and how easy it was. it took me a few months to beat HL2, but maybe because icouldent play it as offen. but still HL2 is my favorite game and GT:SA is a horible game.

Did you beat GTA:SA with cheats or without cheats? Because if you didnt beat them with cheats then you have alot of freetime, and must've played it all day.
