It's just a less portable laptop.

You'd use something like a 12" laptop for running around the jungle and recording the odd flora you find.

You'd use a 19" like this one, for sitting in the airport lobby playing HL2.

Luckily I got 6 weeks of work this summer so, I'm probably going to buy myself a decent car and some new PC components this winter.

As long as my laptop can handle the ScummVM and a few other emulators, I am golden. Trying to play first rate FPS titles on it is crazy. Like on a plane...how will that work? Borrow the tray-table from you neighbor for the mouspad? I think my 15.4 widescreen is too bulky ffs so I can't imagine a 19 incher! Good luck! You'll need it!
