Sapphire Atlantis RADEON 9800 PRO 256MB Ultimate Edition Article

it allso said that there wasnt too much differnt from a 128mb to a 256mb im just guessin thats because not much games desire so much power just w8 untill doom3 comes out then this card will shine

Thats a big **** off card. A lot of cooling there

Does anyone else think that while the speed of video cards are increasing the graphics quality of them seems to be getting worse... Ever since AF was introduced it seems that games look crappier unless you enable it to max, when before games looked great without it. :D

And Radeon 9800 pro whatever is old news.. the next cards are just around the corner.

but man that card is a beast!

LOL yeah i bet the next big ass card from sapphire will need an external powersource, cuz that mother****er must drain a hell'a'of lot juice...

I've got the sapphire 9800 pro 256, but it's not ultimate edition, do you think there is much difference?

I havn't even installed it yet because i need some more components.:cheese:

You seem to have a problem with forum decision, ||Diablo||. If it's about a video card, it goes in General Hardware, not General Discussion.

My god... and I thought only NVidia would be dumb enough to make a card so huge it takes up 2 slots...what morons. The 9800 pro runs every game that is out, or going to be comeing out within the next year. Man if you buy that card when it first comes out, you are dumb LOL. :) Anyway Im just pissed cuz I have a 9800 pro and I dont want anything new to come out till it gets old and decrepid :)

..or you could just buy a Zalman ZM80A-HP and a few RAMsinks ;)

Yeah, I notice it too when looking in really old magazine screenshots.
We need high quality games I think. Like HL2 :)

Btw, here's a quote from the NVIDIA marketing PR director:
"No one wants to run at 115 fps* on a Voodoo. Lets tap into these tremendous fillrates and jack up the quality instead!" :p

*115 fps converted to modern standards == ~500 fps.
