Is a Sapphire RADEON9600XT Atlantis 256mb worth £100?

well, my convert says that's about 182 USD. Unless comp parts are that much more expensive in the UK (or if that includes VAT), then no, it's not worth it.

oh thats the cheapest i can find it, the cheapest the x800 is in the uk is £290 so is everything just more expensive in the uk?

i have one in my comp right now dude. runs all my games really good. doom 3 runs amazingly well for a saphire card. It worth the money.

yeah, I mean it's a great card, but to my US eyes, that seems expensive. is that including VAT?

yeah thats including vat, it's the only one i can afforded at the moment and it's got some good reviews it should be good for games like hl2, farcry, doom3 etc.. Right?

Well, I have one, and I paid £140 inc' Half Life 2, so yeah, I'd say £100 is money well spent. Of-Course £140 in todays money would buy you an Atlantis 9800pro, so go figure

well i own all those games. I could play fracry on high detail at 800x600 resolution. Plus Doom3 @ 800x600 at high detail... so its not all that bad.
