I would feel the same way if our politicians didn't take abstinance only "education" seriously, but the fact is that they do, actually in many schools in this country that's the only thing they teach. Palin is one of the reasons for this, and I'm happy the hypocrisy of it all has been exposed and I hope that people continue to talk about it.

well she did agree to do the interview, everything leading up to it snowballed from the moment her mother entered the vice presidential race. and I have no problem with mocking spectacle; the irony of the situation was just too sweet to pass by

Until I head Palin come out and say that abstinance only doesn't work this situation needs to be mocked. Their actions have consequences; there are children in our schools that follow abstinance only programs, this is not a game, people are being affected by these idiots.

There have been a few cases apparently. Makes sense since Down's is sometimes (rarely) mosaic, not all of a person's cells will be trisomy-21 in these cases.
If the germ-line cells are then they'd be infertile, yeah, and probably some of the hormonal-producing tissues like pituitary or whatever, but if they're all ok then there's no reason for infertility.

Edit: I just checked the wiki links to the PubMed articles, looks like there have even been a few cases of male fertility in non-mosaic Down's Syndrome guys.
