Contrary to other people in this thread, i wouldn't really care if i was being watched, or recorded or whatever, in public. I'd even go so far as to say that the whole toilet cam thing doesn't concern me that much either, if someone wants to watch me do a dump then that's up to them - doesn't effect me. If on the other hand it was someone i knew, or they pestered me since seeing me or something, then i'd be annoyed, but if i never met them, then i really wouldn't care (would be awkward if i knew they were watching though).

However, i still think that it's common courtesy to let people know if they are being watched. I know that loads of people don't do this, and i know that you shouldn't expect people to do it. I just think that they should do, unless they want to hide the fact that they're filming people why wouldn't they put one up.

The point is, whats important to you, wont be to some random person in some random country. You could be talking about cheating on your girlfriend and the likelyhood that anyone who has anything to do with your life would spot it and say something is pretty slim. They'd have to be either very lucky, or be stalking you in the first place.. and if someone is doing that, they don't need a webcam to follow you. *locks doors and windows*
