What'd you guys get on your SATS? I just got a 1050. I'm not trying again. That's it, a 3.4 GPA and a 1050 SAT score will haveta get me into the colleges I want. So what did you guys get?

I got a 960 the first time i took them. Second time i got a 1120. Taking them again in november. You know what they say...third times a charm!

The SAT's are garbage. I scored a 1120 and had a high school GPA of 3.4.

I am an accounting major in college right now (senior year ) and I have a 3.75 GPA. I also have several scholarships as well from working hard in college. My college GPA (for my major) is well above what I'm supposed to get according to my high school and SAT performance.

SAT's don't mean anything as long as you try as hard as possible with whatever you want to do in life.

Stupid SAT's. I was too lazy to study for it when I took it in highschool. That laziness probably cost me a full-ride scholarship.

SAT's really don't matter much in the long run, and they certainly don't prove anything beyond how well you are at taking the SAT. Don't fret over it

Imo, test's like these don't show how well you know the subject. They show your willingness to work and study to get the high marks.

The SAT is designed specifically not to test you on a subject. It tests things like vocabulary, reading comprehension, critical thinking, math skills, etc.

what are you're sats for?
Mine was a series of exams the government use to assess the education system, we have exams at the ages of 8 and 13 i think, on English, Maths and Science. Are these your finals or what?

ours are for college admissions. well, mostly northeastern or pacific coast college admissions...we have another college admissions test, called the ACT

Grade Point Average. Just an average of all your grades. It is on a 4.0 scale. 4.0 is straight A's. 3.0 is straight B's, etc.

I got... a very nice score ... and took it while I was drugged up on Tylenol because I was sick that day. I say the Tylenol did me good. Ahh, Tylenol......
But SAT's don't measure your knowledge. They measure how well you can take a test..... and their analogies are culturally biased. And they tried to charge me money for changing my testing location when I really didn't change it. In fact, they tried to charge me twice! I hate Collegeboard! So I take my vengeance out by killing their tests. Suckers. .............

There is a person in my senior class that got straight 1600 on the SAT. Hes in calculus 3 right now. Genius.

Never took SAT but I did take ACT(28).
I think my GPA was around 3.0-3.5 for most of highschool. I don't remember what my end total was.
