saturday at TDK Cross central (uk)

did anyone go? it's a music festival, which is over now, but it was amazing!! it was in the center of london (sort of), they'd kind of cordoned of a section of kings cross to make a little kind of festival village.

highlights were most definately the youngblood brass band. oh my GOD they were incredible!

listen to 'brooklyn' i think it's fourth down, but it's hard to compare because they're just so amazing live, as was spankrock: http://www.myspace.com/spankrock.

my friend is like their biggest fan, at one point the lead singer handed him his wine bottle and then later after noticing he new all the words, actually handed him the mic and let him sing half of one of the songs. crazy!

anyway i'm just feeling a bit giddy because it was so great, and i wondered if anyone else had gone?

Lucky.. I'd have loved to have seen Hot Chip/Simian Mobile Disco (already seen em, but hey)/Vincent Vincent And The Villains (seen em before, but they're amaaaaze) /New Young Pony Club/Ladytron

saw ladytron, hot chip and simian mobile. didn't see vincent vincent though, not really my thing i don't think.

Yeah they're sort of oldschool rock & roll... really retro.

Simian Mobile Disco were ace at Electric Gardens.. they started their set and in like 5 minutes, most of the crowd's tops were off.. and the tent basically became a hotbox..

What Reading/Leeds, sadly no.. a lot of my mates went, because they had money when I didn't..
