saved games

Has any body got a saved game near the prison where you kill that medium sized crature?, I need a saved game file there because for some reason when i went back to play hl2 it wasnt there i tried looking in the steamapps folder and nothing there also it just fannished for some reson so i im preloading hl2 again because it would just install off dvd, and thats takening 700mins for somereason which at first it took 20mins from start to finnish

So i was woundering whever anybody has got a saved game frome there so i dont have to start over again thanks

Just load up the "Nova Prospekt" chapter, dude. It won't take that long.

Well if he lost his game, he prolly also lost the chapters right?

yeah, i lost everything all my save games and i carnt choose the chapters ;(

Im off to try and right "map Nova Prospekt" in the consol with out quotes but if it works it want hane any weapons will it?

Oh by the way ive finished preloading the files and it took 7 hours this time and im on brodeband 512KB So it still shouldnt take that long should it didnt the first time.

i dont think it will be punishment playing it again i might find stuff what i missed be for hehe

first time i played hl2 all the chapters were there ready to pick.

skipper type "maps *" in console without quotes.

Then find from the list, one thats called nova/prospekt/prison etc.. then load the 0_0_a of that (or which ever looks the first)
