Saw VII (aka Saw 3D)

Saw VII looks pretty sweet. I loved the first 2 films, & by the looks this one will deliver with it's crazy ideas on how to kill someone in the most brutal way possible. What are your thoughts on this franchise? Love, like, hate?

First one was an alright thriller. The rest are purely ridiculous gore porn. The traps in two made no sense, then three was the story explaining why the traps in two made no sense (the girl did them and she just wanted to kill them) and it didn't get much better from there (I don't think I've actually seen six though).

There is no hope in hell of me paying to see this film. I'll probably watch it when it comes out on Sky.

Edit: How is jigsaw narrating this? Hasn't be been dead for like three films?

Personally I love the series. Sure the story is average at best, but I'm more into it for the original ways in which people are slaughtered!

Haha yeah, I think the film makers realized he was at least one of the reasons why people liked the franchise. So they keep bringing him back with flashbacks & recordings.
Like for example, Saw VII starts with what happened to Dr. Gordon after he left the bathroom, from Jigsaw's perspective.

I don't know how many Saw movies I have seen. I laugh at all the imdb comments though, posting theories and shit... Like it's a god damn mystery movie. I mean, the first movie had an intressting twist sure... But then, every other saw movie I have seen, the formula is exactly the same. Guy who probaly is the killer is just another pawn. Watch him die and some other guy or girl will appear as the killer. Rince and repeat. And now 3D? Awesome! That's not a gimmick that I hate.

i have seen 1-3 disliked all of them. not a fan of horror but these movies were shitty. can't believe people waste their money on these. its better to donate your money rather than see these movies
