wtf america? action movies where people get torn to pieces are ok, but saying "blowjob" causes an uproar?

the girl said it perfectly...clinton was hung by the balls for that, but sending 4000 US soldiers to their death, ****ing up the economy and the world, torturing prisoners doesn't even get you a slap one the wrist?
this is beyond logic if you ask me

i still don't get it why **** is censored here.

What outrageous behaviour, they are obviously poor savages living under the rule of some psychotic gay president, that forces them too eat penis shaped food. Sounds like they need some more liberating. Prep the bombs boys.

It's ridiculously idiotic that such phrases are shunned by our society. Just because people are too afraid to have their kids ask "Mommy, what does blowjob mean?" I think people in this country are trying too hard to control other people's actions. Soon enough we will no longer be a real democracy, because of all these stupid laws. Yeah, I can't drink beer or have sex at 18, but I sure as hell can get shipped to a foreign country and have my brains blown out all over soil I've never set foot on, or never will my entire life. Makes a great ****ing deal of sense, doesn't it?

I'm moving to mars. **** this shit. It's a lot easier for me to get to mars than put up with this shit.

And of course the government would stop me, because in America, though we may be free to do whatever we want, as long as it causes no harm to others, we certainly can't do whatever we want. That would be ludicrous.

How is it inappropriate? Swearing or using 'vulgar' words really isn't such a big deal.

I never saw the pelvic thrust until someone pointed it out. It looks to me more like she's moving her hips circularly.

To you it isn't.

Public TV calls for regulations that adhere to the general public. It's courtesy to the average viewer.

"Bad language" on a national news setting is just used in bad taste. Sure, they just want to get an emphasis across with their point, but I'm sure there are ways around saying "blowjob" about Bill Clinton, or in another case when a man on national news said "The U.S. doesn't ****ing torture!"

I certainly wouldn't respect a news organization that had loose laws about foul language, and the anchors and guests said "F*** this," and "Your point is bull****," regularly. They would lose my interest as a viewer (or rather, they would lose my credibility as a serious news organization, and I would only watch them for the lols instead of good discussion). It's all about being likeable to the public. This can certainly be achieved without needing 'vulgar' words.

In the case of Bill Clinton, I'd be disappointed with any public news headlining in which the headlining of the news was "BLOWJOB AT THE WHITE HOUSE!" It's just in bad taste, it's unpleasing, and unnecessary.

Even though that particular headline would be rather funny.
 
I was watching the music video for Papa Roach - Last Resort, and they censored "bleeding" and "suicide". LOL

Oh come on, who are we kidding? 'Vulgar' words make someone lose their credibility, the choice of words, instead of their overall rude behavior? Words carry no meaning. Bill O'Reilly shouting like a retard at someone for no good reason is what makes him lose credibility in my eyes, regardless of whether or not he says 'fuck' and regardless whether or not that gets bleeped out. Calling someone an asshole isn't suddenly 'nice' when 'asshole' gets bleeped out. Using another word instead, doesn't make it 'nice' either, since you still mean the same thing.

The people in the video not letting the other one talk, is what makes someone look rude and unprofessional. Not the choice of a word, which fit the load perfectly (no pun intended, and what else should she have said? 'Fellatio', 'sucking dick'? And why is one better than the other?) because it was arbitrarily placed on a 'naughty words' list.

And yeah, a news organization using "BLOWJOB AT THE WHITEHOUSE" as a headline would be stupid and unprofessional. Because it would serve no other purpose than to draw attention, which shouldn't be the aim of a serious news organization. However, this was a small part of what she said, and yet, they actually come back to it half a minute later to, drawing attention to it (and probably aversely actually promoting the use of the word while doing so) to bitch about the innocent children souls.

Here, the public news isn't censored in this way at all (and less so than commercial news, usually). It just reports the facts, if someone said 'fuck' in a story, then it is reported as such, the same for nudity, because bleeping it out would detract from the factuality of the story and would serve no purpose. But then again, the average American news program on a station like CNN feels like a fucking quiz show, stopping just short of the presenters wearing glitter suits and quite frankly, it's embarrassing to watch.
