Screenshots saving in TGA format..?

Well how can I make them save in JPG or something similar.
Or - how do I view a TGA file ?
OR - how do I make a TGA into a JPG ?

put them in photo shop then resave

They will always save as TGA, just open them in Photoshop and save em.

I think if you change the F5 bind from "screenshot" to "jpeg" it will save them in that format instead.

You'll have to convert the screenshots you already have with another image program. But in the console for TF2 or any source game type:
bind F5 jpeg

hit the print screen button, open up irfan view and paste it. hit the save button and choose the file type.....voila!!!

Im pretty sure it is default at 90% quality. You can put a number after it "jpeg 100" and it will change the compression quality. Jpeg isn't quite as good as TGA anyway. But it's smaller.
