Keeping discussion posts out of the other thread will make it easier to count votes. I'd appricate if a mod could move any excess posts to this thread.
The subject of whether the votees have to be player characters has been brought up. Hadn't really thought about it. I suppose hero here would be best defined as a hero in the literary sense of the word; the character whose struggles are chronicled in the plot. I know that's not a proper definition of the hero (perhaps sulkdodds or another student of literature could classify) but it's along the right lines I think. I suppose that would make it the player character.
