I can't recall being a fan of any video game character, but if I did, it would probably be one of them ninja mother****ers - or a ninja looter.

I thought Auron from FFX was cool, but that was probably because the other characters were so wackky.

I'm really racking my brain, but I've got nothing.

What was that Capcom game - Onimusha? That was pretty alright.

I want to slap some of you for such predictable choices. Solid Snake? What is there to him other than the repetition of other characters' lines and "Metal Gear?!" What a tool. J.C Denton, likewise, is a boring, monotone bastard overshadowed by one of the most exaggerated villains in recent memory. I would also argue that Max Payne is as cliched as the genre permits: a lot.

My choice would be:

Raziel - Soul Reaver
Jade - Beyond Good and Evil
April - The Longest Journey.

I'd put all three of them above Gordon Freeman, too.

What can I say, I'm a man of simple pleasures and an overactive sense of nostalgia.
