Someone here posted a message from a valve employee that a second portion..perhaps a full portion was to begin today, Saturday, at 9am pst...or did I just imagine that? Was that a hoax too? :O

I can't remember all the post I've read over the couple of days...especially with all the hype going on. That's why I'm asking, I don't know where it is.

that was a hoax too. It was on the planethalflife forums. I emailed scott lynch about it.

Hello,

I just noticed a post on Planethalflife forums that you made...here's the link

Anyway, I was wondering if you really made this post, or if it was an imposter. I'm just wondering if it's the real deal, or just some guy yanking our chain. Thanks :)

Jeez- I really hope people stop impersonating valve. Valve are most of the time clueless what happens behind their back - but for us fans it's a nightmare of ups and downs.

I hope there'll be a gap of a few days between the final preload and the release date.

I wish people would screw off with the impersonating. Your acting childish.

Valve should say that they will only post new news at steampowered.com ....it would stop this BS dead in it's tracks.
