Seconday Attack on the Pulse Rifle Gun

hey guys can someone please explain what that secondary shot does, the one that makes a big sonic explosion. A couple times I was able to knock down the sentrys with it, but thats about it... are there any other uses for it?

It disentigrates people. If it hits them, they just start to disappear. It bounces off hte walls and everything, it's very nice for larger groups in a tight area

It releases a teleporter-disintegratey orb that bounces around and teleports/dissolves any combine that it touches. I don't know if this works on headcrabs or other things, but when you fire it into a Strider or manatee ship thingy, it acts like a slightly more powerful RPG.

thats awesome, i guess i just have bad luck i've never landed it on a guy. i wish there was a self detonate on it or something

If you let it bounce around in a room any enemy that is even scuffed by it will be vaporized. It's probably the coolest second function of all the normal guns.

i saw a movie clip and it looked like an auto shock rifle or something
what happened to the red balls of fire
i got one shot at me at the beginnning of the game where you run up to the roof because the combine have found you out

I guess they took the fire ball thingy out. I saw the gun and was like "OMG THE FLAME THROWER THING!" and then it fired that damned "Ball Of Aweson" (now called the BOA)..tnx why
anyway, i was sad they took it out....maybe it will be in an expantion pack
