I have the retail dvd-version of the game.
I get these messages in the console like "alyx missing getdown2.wav" or something about fog once in a while. Now, the game runs fine and I haven´t noticed any kind of malfunction inside the game. I have ran the validate-function for HL2 a couple of times and it seems like it doesn´t find any problems (it goes to 100% and then quits without any messages).
I want to know if you any of guys have these too and if this mean parts of the game are corrupt.
