Sept 30 Release.. Investigative reporting

Acting on a tip I left yesterday to go to the Kiribati islands to see if there is indeed a worldwide release of Half Life 2. Why here? Well the answer is simple, because the will be one of the first places it is Sept 30 in the world! Right now is it 9:30 AM Sept 30 (as opposed to 2:33 PM Sept 29 in my native Central Time Zone)

I am uploading some pix of what I have found since I am short on time..


1 .I arrived at day break 6:23 am on Sept 30. The sun was breaking over the pacific. What a gorgeous sunrise!

2. When the plane landed I stepped off onto the beach I was noticed no one was around. It was eerily quiet. I searched for hours looking for a GameStop or EB Games but all I could find was abandoned grass huts.

3. I heard some laughter so I followed it and LO AND BEHOLD WHAT I FOUND!!! Some Kiribati natives holding in their hands Retail (non warez) copies of Half Life 2!!!!!!

4. The natives seemed happy to see me I heard them saying something like "Chima nachu" which is Kribati for brunch I think. I was soon greeted by the whole tribe. Right now I am sitting in a cauldron adorned with various vegetables and seasonings. It is getting hot. I don't think I have much time to upload any more pictures.. please.. get the word out.. Hl2 is comminn outtt
